Rituparna Ray Chaudhuri is an acclaimed Google Scholar, and an educationist who teaches English and British Literature. An essayist, author and literary critic, her work and academic research has been published in various journals and internationally acclaimed websites.
‘Literature, art and history played a very important role in my life while growing up’, she says. She was rapturously fascinated by literature, and thus decided to pursue literature and academia. An ardent reader of prose and poetry, she also has a keen interest in British Literature.
Her book “The Immortal Fly: Eternal Whispers” was selected for London Book Fair, and was also showcased in Milton Public Library, USA. It has also been on promotion at Oxford (Apeejay House, Kolkata). This autobiographical book, at its core, discusses the relationship between a mother and her daughter. This book tells the true story of a family that came from South Calcutta and moved to a suburb in Madhyamgram (Kolkata, West Bengal). She says, ‘My mother was exceptionally charismatic with a dynamic personality, and this book is an ode to my mother.’
As an educationist, she has also come out with the book “Illusion Verses Reality: Based on Reverie, A Collection of Poems For ISC”, which has been critically acclaimed by the students.
