#Hello Rituparna, thank you so much for taking the time out to talk to BUZZ Magazine. First things first: how did you take up writing?
In 2006, I came to my maternal grandmother’s house in a suburb of Madhyamgram from South Calcutta to pay a visit. While living, I first taught some students and then more students on both British and English literature. With constant succession of students for more than six years, I judged myself to take up writing. That’s the first I had started.
What was your very first attempt at creative writing?
While writing something then, I remember teaching Literature to senior classes on Shakespeare’s original work on Macbeth.
Teaching is also learning: hence, my writing on the net at first was Macbeth as a Tragic hero. I had earned lots of positive comments and inspiration.
Where did you get the ideas for your stories?
In an excerpt from the book, The Immortal Fly: Eternal Whispers, Ma had her blissful words (as translated from the Bengali Language) upon me.
It is marked, She said, ‘‘I believe from myself, what my daughter speaks deeply on own style is ‘Hence, for The World.’ ” Everything that I write, analyse, and say is innate. I am thankful to God.
How long did it take for you to conceptualize the book and write it down?
Unlike the book Realization, towards the end of February in 2019 with a change of idea on writing Literature to a new style, the book The Immortal Fly: Eternal Whispers had taken three and half months, a biography based on Indian and Western Literature.
What happened after you were done with the final manuscript?
I like to work with my USA publisher, Partridge International Association with Penguin Random House, UK.
After my final manuscript, my foreign publisher provided me ample opportunities to work on the second book further. They were too supportive to understand every circumstance before the final manuscript, Immortal Fly, was published.
You continued your literary journey with Realizations. What prompted you to write that book?
The first book, in 2018, was Realization that was published under Partridge, the USA. At this moment, I had already become a Google Scholar writing in Academia.edu with constant appreciation and acclimation through messages from India and abroad, Phil Papers, and so on. I had thought of accumulating, thus, my scholarly works on the net in the form of a book.
Was there something you learned about the writing and publishing world with your second book?
A review of the book Immortal Fly mentioned my complete self-style on writing Literature in a new form, seems to be, “Thunder is good, Thunder is impressive/ But it’s lightning that does the work. “.
………..
In discussion to the publishing world, during my crisis I had words of Strength and Courage from my senior executive marketing manager, my book consultant, my publishing executive and so on from Partridge Publication in Association with Penguin Random House.
To be more, Vanessa Dean and Lady Pane, as part of Partridge, had their words embedded in the book Immortal Fly: Eternal Whispers, with printing information of the book as mentioned on the last page from Milton Keynes, UK.
The two genres of your books are vastly different. Was there any particular reason for that?
I became overwhelmed when I had got a chance at Partridge International in Bloomington, Indiana, Association with Penguin Random House. As a keen lover of Literature-based on Self Analysis, ‘Realization’ got published in 2018 and took a place to be a part of Google Scholarly Works. I was preparing myself with the next book to write.
On the other hand, God had prepared some thoughts for me. He had already arranged the table and was eagerly waiting in His thunderous World for ‘His New Guest’ to come. Herein a different genre arose on the spire of ‘The Immortal Fly: Eternal Whispers.’
Which did you find more challenging: fiction inspired by reality or a literary piece?
I had gone through both literary pieces and fiction inspired by Reality. Creativity, Self form, and History to run simultaneously is more challenging than any literal piece of work.
Coming back to other writerly questions: do you have particular schedules or writing routines when it comes to your work?
No, I am not, generally, fond of any kind of bondage. Hence, I do not have any particular schedule. I am free to write at any time and any moment.
What are your future plans for writing?
As long as I can, I have a stern quote to myself: ” Writing is my passion, Analysis is my rhythm, Setting of any idea is my impulse, Literature is in my Blood.”
Do you have any particular authors or literary figures who inspire your work?
I like to read some of my chosen poetic works, some of my passionate novels and stories where I still used to think, ” If I ever can be like them!”
What would your advice be to aspiring authors?
For Generation to be aspiring authors, they must think on writing with Clarity and Correctness, have Patience and Perseverance rather than fumbling Consequences.
What’s next for you?
This year I recently finished a book ‘Illusion Verses Reality: Based on Reverie’. Now, I want to touch something different. Let me complete the work to get revealed, then.
Thank you once again for talking to BUZZ Magazine. We wish you all the best with your current work and future works.
